  • 1. What surfaces will release agents work on?

    Metal, Wood, Rubber.

  • 2. Does your release agent contain any carcinogens or reproductive hazards?

    No. All our release agents are BioGreen and follows a strict environmental guideline.

  • 3. Have there been any lab tests performed?

    Yes! Our release agent has been tested against diesel oil with and without a soil base. Check our BioGreen for test results.

  • 4. Can your release agent be diluted?

    No! All our release agents are oil base and therefore, do not need to be diluted. As our release agents are not water or solvent based as compared to other release agents, there is no evaporation.

  • 5. How much product is required for a given surface area?

    1 Litre of release agent will cover approximately 300 sq.ft.

  • 6. What is the freezing temperature?

    Our release agent will freeze at -5°C. If your site experiences occasional temperatures below 0°C, we would need to design special applicator systems. See question below.

  • 7. Will your release agent work in cold temperatures?

    Yes! As long as the product is sprayed warm, it will work on cold surfaces. We design and fabricate applicator systems that will accommodate the cold (up to -5°C).

  • 8. What is dead-bed (carry-back)?

    Dead-bed is unwanted ore accumulation in production equipment that inhibits equipment from performing at full capacity. Deadbed robs mining equipment of full payload potential. For example, a 240 ton truck with dead-bed will only dump 230 tons per cycle as against 240 tons per cycle. Overtime, this lost tonnage can be very costly.

  • 9. Where can OreX™ in Mining is used?

    It is used mostly in haul truck beds to eliminate dead-bed from building up and hence, increase productivity. Other applications include but are not limited to vehicle undercarriages, chutes, loading pockets, skips, conveyor belts, loader buckets, etc.

  • 10. What productivity increases have been experienced at mines?

    Productivity increases of up to 10% have been experienced. It all depends on the amount of deadbed that the mine equipment has built up without using AussieMud™.

  • 11. What is OreX™ Mining?

    OreX™ is a non-stick release agent that is 100% environmentally friendly. In Mining, it eliminates deadbed (carry-back) from occurring.

  • 12. What impact will your release agent have on aquatic wildlife?

    This product is not classed as a water pollutant or a toxic chemical. This product is not considered toxic to aquatic environments. Product is Biodegradable. However, avoid uncontrolled releases of this product into the environment.

  • 13. What is Australian Made?

    All our release agents and specialty lubricants are manufactured, processed in Australia. Simply look for the famous green and gold Australian Made kangaroo logo. Only products that meet the strict rules approved by the Federal Government. So if you want to buy Australian Made, look for the logo Australian shoppers have trusted for 25 years, the original, and only recognised, Australian Made logo. 2009 Roy Morgan research showed that 85% of respondents trusted the Australian made logo over other country of origin logos

  • 14. What approvals do your release agents have?

    All our release agents applications in Asphalt, Concrete and Mining has been approved by leading companies like Boral, Fulton Hogan, Downer EDI Works, Municipal Councils and other Mining companies. We are on their system as preferred suppliers. From time to time all our products are evaluated for quality and safety check by these companies.

  • 16. How should we evaluate the cost of your release agent against other release agents?

    You have to evaluate your cost per ton of material, as against the cost per litre of product. Also, evaluate what benefits you will gain in production from using our release agents vs. the cost of the product.

     

  • 17. Do I need special equipment when working with release agents?

    All our release agents have a special applicator which are manual as well semi-automated. We supply our own equipment to effectively use the product to the full satisfaction of our customer’s needs.
